Vermont foliage?
We are flying into Albany, NY on October 3rd. The plan is to get an early start on the 4th and travel up Vermont, via route 100, and make our way to St Johnsbury. St Johnsbury will be our base camp for hiking in the White Mountains and checking out the NE Kingdom. We will make our way back down to Albany on the 8th for a late flight out. I have been watching the foliage report of Vermont's tourism website, and it shows that some areas on 100 have already peaked, as have some areas in the northern part of the state. We will be in Vermont 10 days from now, and am worried that we will miss the peak on 100 and the white mountains. I would really appreciate your thoughts and suggestions . Do we need to look for alternative routes? Thank you.
