Vegas - Zion - Sedona ?

My wife and I are planning a 9 day trip in late March. We booked our flights arriving and departing from Las Vegas. We booked our last two nights in Vegas off the strip. This is our first trip to any of the places mentioned below.
We kind of have different ideas on what we want to see. Myself - Zion / bryce.
My wife - Sedona.
Grand Canyon would be nice but it's not our priority on this trip. If we can see it, great, but we don't want to spend much time there.
We are aware of the weather conditions in Zion and Bryce and will pack accordingly.
So I'm putting together an itinerary to do both. I was thinking straight from airport - driving to Zion for two nights. Possibly one night at Bryce. ( or day trip from Zion ).
And 3 nights in Sedona to keep the wife happy!, and maybe get m some warmer weather. So that gives us 5 or 6 nights between the areas.
We don't mind driving at all, and do quite a bit of road trips here in BC.
We really just want to see some sights in this part of the world, and some smallish hikes. Any major hiking would be on our next trip.
Any recommendations for routes ?
Or changes to itinerary.
Thanks for any help

In nine days you can please both of you. If you do go directly to Zion from the airport and stay two nights there you might be able to do a quick look around before you check into your hotel. Then you need to decide if you want to do one or two days of hiking there or perhaps one day there and one visiting Bryce and heading towards Sedona.

There has always been snow in Bryce when we've been there in April, so I would expect most of the trails to be snow covered in March. Unless you like hiking in snow I would suggest you do drive through and stop at the overlooks, take fabulous pictures. The roads were fine for driving and kept snow free.

In any case, for night 3 decide if you want to go east towards Page then south or south past Vegas then east as you head to Sedona with a stop at Grand Canyon on the way.

Day 4 I would head to Grand Canyon, do a bit of hiking on the rim trail and down into the canyon a way. See sunset, spend the night at the canyon, see sunrise.

Day 5, 6, 7 Sedona.

All this assumes no major snow storms or flooding rain and most likely that will be the case.

Do pick up a cooler and fill it with snacks and drinks and fill your gas tank when it gets to a half. Be aware that there are large animals, like deer, elk, and antelope on the roads and some areas have open range so cows and horses might be on the pavement too. Try to do your driving in the daylight.

Have a great trip.

Great
Thank you for the reply. We know this might be a bit ambitious but it gives us an idea of the areas so we can stay longer next time !

Keep us posted on your trip... I am thinking of a similar trip, but from Phoenix, doing Sedona, then up to Grand Canyon. Possibly in September this year.
we are also from BC so are used to quite a bit of driving!
