Vegas temp end of March

Heading there on March 26th. Trying to decide if we'll get any pool time. How's the weather in general that time of year?

I've only been to Vegas once in late March and it was wonderful...about 80 degrees during the day. Of course Vegas temps vary greatly but I would bet you'll get plenty of pool time!

www.weather.com will give you average high temps for just about any place in the world. For Las Vegas at the end of March it says an average high temp of 75 and an average low temp of about 52. So, depending on where you're from that might be pool weather. That said, most hotel pools are mainly closed until at least April 1. Check out your hotel's web site to see what their pool hours are. Many do keep one pool open very limited hours in the off-season, but you can check to be sure.

we were in vegas last march and it was certainly warm enough to sit by the pool. unfortunatly they weren't scheduled to open the pool till the following week so couldn't go in. that was at the flamingo.

I've been to Las Vegas many times in late March and early April. I'd say you have better than a 50 percent chance of the weather being warm enough for lounging by the pool. I've been there when it was 80 but I've also been there when it was 60. I've never come across a pool area that was closed during that time but I guess from the other posters that this does occur.

Considering the winter weather and very rainy season we've been having here in Las Vegas this year, I wouldn't count much on being by the pool the end of March. Of course anything IS possible, but if the temps reach the 70's lately it's a red letter day! Of course if you're coming from the east or midwest where your highs are lower than our lows (40-50 degrees) then maybe it would be okay to sit by the pool in the 60's or low 70's. But you should check with your hotel because many of them DO close the pool for maintenance during the winter and most don't open before April at the earliest. Of course you could check out the Tropicana - an older property, yes, a classic, but they DO have an indoor - HEATED - pool that is open durnig the winter, with a jacuzzi too. The Tropicana is still a good value for the price and the location is good.

Thanks for all the info! We're coming from Maine (so anything above 30 will seem warm) and booked at the Golden Nugget. Can't wait.
