Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village

Is it worth going to the village to see the lights and displays? We do not have kids with us and don't know if this is a good site for adults only.

That's the Tlaquepaque in Mexico, right?

Post this on the Latin America branch.

I believe he means Sedona. If you are going to be in town anyway, it's easy to get to. I've not been at Christmas so can't comment on whether you'd enjoy the lights. The shopping is OK

I also haven't been at Christmas. However, when I was there in June it looked more liked a small themed mall than an "Arts & Crafts Village".

I hope that's why you're goiing there. The surrounding setting is just fantastic. The town itself.....

I actually don't think Tlaquepaque would be very interesting for kids at all.

Don't know about the lights, but it is a nice shopping area to walk around it, its quite lovely.

HI!
There is an article I just read about Red Rock Fantasy Light Display. It's at a blog called Sedona Blog. They have the information there now.

Check out the links on the side too. It's the best collection of sites I have ever seen on Sedona information.

I've gone to the this exhibit and the kids there seemed to be having a blast and I remember we bought cider and home made kettle corn to munch on while we walked around.I think your kids will love it!

oops, sorry my mistake

I see Tlaquepaque pottery often in Mexico, and wasn't aware of the Sedona place.

Thanks. I do mean Sedona. Just didn't know if it was worth our time going at night to see these lights. Thanks for your feedback.

The website for the holiday light display is redrockfantasy.com. It's a pleasant way to spend an evening in Sedona if you don't have other plans. The displays are put on by families/groups hoping to win a timeshare. You get to vote as you walk through the displays. We've taken company in years past, and they've always enjoyed it. It's fun with or without kids. Just be sure to bundle up - it can get cold!
