Suggestion for 4 day hotel in Miami
Arriving in Miami on July 16, 2016 for 4 nights. Need to stay right on the beach (or closest) and very close to all the activities likes shops, cafes, night life(though not much into night life), but dont want a secluded area. I think it is the Lincoln st, Washington av etc
Budget for couple is USD130/ night
Please recommend
Not sure, if Fort Lauderdale, would be a good choice for us. Could you kindly suggest some hotel in FL too

You're not going to find something better than a gussied-up flophouse for 130 per on Miami Beach. Hotels there routinely go for 250+ and the better ones eclipse 400 and 500 per.
And you need to define "on the beach" because Miami has a lot of waterfront. This is because the area has various small islands, inlets, bays, etc. and is the mouth of the intracoastal waterway that goes from Miami to Norfolk and beyond.
Your best bet is to go to Orbitz or hotels.com or trip advisor and use the MAP function to find hotels near the beaches. You can scroll all over and go north on the map to Ft Laudy. Prices there will be FAR lower than in Miami or Miami Beach.

Is budget of USD130/- doable in Fort Lauderdale?
and if i stay there want to come to Miami to visit the main market in Washington Av, Licoln st etc then would it be easy and comfy. What would be the price and time in a Bus (looking for cheap options)

I think I would focus on Miami/South Beach/Miami Beach and maybe lower your standards a tad. Forget the oceanfront (unless you find a bargain); Hotel Astor on Washington Ave is coming in @ $135/night for your dates...great shopping area & reasonable walk to the beach. Heart of the action. There were several other decent options in this price range.

You might consider staying on the mainland, in Miami city, if you can find a hotel. Lots of cafes, galleries, restaurants boutiques as well as some chain shops, in the area known as Wynwood.

This is certainly one of the "coolest" areas of the city right now so it might be fun for you. This hotel has a kitchen in the rooms and is much less than you would pay on the beach.

Are you planning to shop in the Lincoln Road area?
You might be interested in the Dolphin Mall, west of the airport, if you want outlet shopping (meaning lower prices for some name brand goods; but you should have an idea of the "normal" prices before you buy much at an outlet; some of the goods are of lesser quality than the namem might imply.)

There is a free shuttle that might suit you:
