short driving trip from Napa to Mendocino to San Francisco

Attending wedding in late September in Napa; leaving Napa on Monday & want to travel back along coast and stay at Sea Rock Inn in Mendocino before returning car in SF for flight out at 1:30 on Friday.
Any suggestions for how long to stay in Mendocino? Where to eat? What route to take back to SF? And should we stop along the way and stay one night (maybe in Bodego Bay; and where to stay?) Or should we try to stay near the airport in SF or just drive from Bodego Bay?
Have no idea about planning travel times, since understand west coast highway is very slow/crooked/scenic.
Thank you!!!!!!! e

You do know that Mendocino is way north from Napa and SFO is way south? Just checking.

you should check the AAA trip planner if you are a member to get an idea of driving times.

I'd spend a couple of days in Mendocino and enviorns. I had one of my best meals ever at Cafe Beajoulis, but I understand it has changed hands and it may not live up to the old reputation. Also enjoyed dinner at MaccCallum House. Had a good lunch at the Northcoast Brewing Co in Fort Bragg.
We like Bodega Bay and have stayed at the Inn at the Tides a couple of times. Pretty easy drive to the airport once rush hour passes on the 101. Another nice place to stay en route is the Point Reyes area, a number of charming B&Bs are in the little towns near the National Seashore.
