I'm traveling to NYC in May and have reservations at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers as it is a business trip whereby the classes are being held there. Can anyone tell me if this is a decent hotel and if it is within walking distance of theatres as well as shopping on Madison Ave?

Kathy, I think the Sheraton is a good choice, lots of restaurants in the area, close to the theatre district and a few blocks walk to Madison Ave. Start at Daffy's (44th and Madison) and walk up.

We stayed there 2 ys ago (family of 5). Itīs a good hotel, near everything, with breakfast and a snack at about 6PM included in the price. I think itīs a good choice.

The Sheraton New York is a great (and safe) midtown location on Seventh Avenue, spanning the 52nd-5rd Street block--close to theater district, Madison and Fifth Avenues, Rockfeller Center, etc. It's also a top-of-the-line business/conference hotel.
