We'll be in LA during next week's Golden Globe Awards. Where should we go to see stars arrive and/or get the best vantage point? I'm not usually a 'star follower' but thought it would be fun to see everyone all glammed up and have a story to take home.

Not sure about the particulars of the Golden Globe, but most folks who want to view the incoming entourages have to camp out overnight for a good spot in the surrounding bleachers. Every year they show them on the news, squatting in front of the theater as much as a day and a half ahead of the event.

Who knows, they may actually sell tickets to the entry viewing stands, might want to do some webbing to get the scoop. Sorry I can't help you more on this front. Good luck and enjoy Los Angeles.

Thanks for the suggestion. I feel so shallow--kind of like I did after watching Joe Millionaire the other night--the brain cells are dropping like flies!

I don't know if it is still there or not, but the awards used to be at the Merv Griffin's Beverly Hilton Hotel. I don't know if they still do this or not, but some friends of mine got a room at the Hilton and with the room came a seat on the bleachers out front. So they had a great view of the celebrities. Afterwards they went to the hotel bar and saw even more stars.
