Seattle.. Train? Food? Baseball?

Advice on how to get from amtrack station (coming from Vancouver) to blue horizon hotel?
Also any must visit restaurant (local food) for a mom and 10 year old boy? And any tips on seeing a mariners game? Are tickets readily available?
Thank you in advance!

The Amtrak station is very close to the stadium.

I couldn't find a Blue Horizon hotel in Seattle. There is one in Vancouver.
Within walking distance of the newly remodeled Amtrak station there is a nice HI hostel. It is the former American hotel.

tomfuller hit the nail on the head...search for "blue horizon" + hotel and you get links to Vancouver, BC.

Tickets should not be a problem...fans are not breaking the doors down to see the Mariners. Just show up at the stadium ticket booths.

I'm no expert but I think it depends who they are playing, whether it would be easy to get tickets day-of the day.

As above, I think you have the hotel names mixed up. Where are you staying in Seattle?

Yes, I did have it mixed up.. We re flying into Vancouver, staying at blue horizon, taking train to Seattle and staying at the Warwick... Any suggestions of how to get from train to hotels or local restaurants or attractions are greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for your time!

Oh the Warwick's a great hotel! I really like it. Brasserie Margeux the restaurant there is very nice. Plus right on that same street you have Ralph's Deli (deli and small grocery, with beer and wine), also Dahlia Bakery, Dahlia Lounge, Assagio's (italian restaurant), and Lola's. All great places to eat.

The Warwick is in "Belltown" which is the north end of the downtown area. It's on the opposite side of downtown from where you will arrive the Amtrak station, so you'll probably want to take a taxi between those two. It should not be expensive (maybe ~$10-12?) but it's a couple miles so a bit too far to walk.

Google Maps indicates there are three buses that go from King Street Station to 4th Avenue and Lenora Street--where the Warwick is located: 161, 59, and 159
