San Francisco Mircobreweries

My husband and I will be in San Francisco in mid July. We're wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good local microbrewery with great food.

Thanks in advance!

My favorite place for a beer - hands down - is Toronado. But there's no food there. You can order sasauges from Rosamundo next door if you'd like. I usually just buy a bag of chips from the market on the corner and enjoy them with my beers.

Whoops...can't believe I forgot the Beach Chalet.

Good beers and food, and great views.

Anchor Steam does one tour per weekday and does not serve food.

planning_ahead - There are lots of craft brews available in California, so rest assured, your men will be able to find plenty of real beer

Consider doing the tour at Anchor Steam:

We really enjoyed the tour, and the beer-tasting afterwards.

Another vote for Toronado + Rosamunde Sausage Grill. Go to Rosamunde, order your sausage, then take it next door and order your beer.
