Although not in San Francisco, Fresh Choice in Colma has great salads, soups, pasta, pizza, and desserts. It is located at:

4927 Junipero Serra Blvd.
Colma,
CA 94014-3216
(650) 757-7892

David, Fresh Choice??? I think you better run right over to the "Seafood restaurants in San Francisco" thread and recommend a Red Lobster. Or, perhaps there is a Red Lobster in Colma?

xxx/burt,

Have you been to Fresh Choice. Probably not. It is actually good if all you are looking for are salads/soups, etc. For that kind of meal there is no need to go to some extravagant restaurant. I didn't see you making any suggestions though. All you know how to do is put other people's recommendations down that you do not agree with but you don't even have half a brain to come up with any of your own.

Try Lightening Foods. I know there is one in Embarcadero and another on Mission and Steuart (I think)..it is across from Rincon Annex. Also the Portico chain and Napa Ranch chain is OK. I would avoid Lee's, they are too dirty for me.
