Recommended Private Shuttle Service From JFK Airport to Long Island City
I am reaching New York JFK Airport on 1st week of May along with my family and pet. I am looking for private shuttle service that can carry 3 persons and 9-10 luggages from JFK airport to my hotel in Long Island City.

Shuttles here usually mean a shared van serivce and they're uniformly bad in NYC. I don't know which car services will take pets, but you can try dial7.com and allstatelimo.com. If it's a dog, it should be ok if in a cage.

To be clear, the two services that mclaurie mentioned do actually have vans for hire as one of the choices. They have different vehicles depending on your needs.
To use the word "shuttle" in the New York area implies a shared service, with riders in the same vehicle going to more than one location, not a private service for one group.

Those recommended are reliable private car services - not taxis - and they have vehicles of all sizes. You should go to the web sites. describe what you will have - how much luggage and if you have any small children that require car seats - get a price after looking at the coupons thy have there. And do mention the dog.
Shuttle services will not take pets, often drive you all over the city to other hotels before dropping you off and may not have room for all of your luggage. And they may well end up costing more than a shuttle would sine they charge per person.

I'm not sure why everyone is being so difficult here. You can book a minivan through either Dial7 or Carmel, our two most prominent private car services. Both take pets. I'd call to make sure you get the appropriate size vehicle since your dog will be crated. It's fairly expensive to book a large van, so expect to pay about $70 before tip (possibly more depending on the size of vehicle). There should be no tolls to LIC because you don't cross any bridges.
