Pronunciation of a couple of international cities...

Hi everyone. I am moderating a large panel session at a travel industry event tomorrow.
While I am highly confident in my skill set (travel automation) I am not so sure of my ability to pronounce some of the cities listed in the panelist bios.
Xian and Biarritz.
Can someone spell out the correct pronunciation phonetically.
I looked in the dictionary but I must admit I do not understand all the symbols and such.
I am looking for something like this:
Mexia (Texas) = Muh-hay-ya
If anyone has other cities that are often mispronounced, please feel free to add!
Laura

Google "Biarritz" ("Xian," etc.).

When the search is complete, click "definition" where it is underlined on the upper right of the page.

When the definition appears, click the speaker symbol.

Hope this helps...

When we were in China, I believe Xian was pronounced "shee ahn".

I forgot to add: You can also check dictionary.com (http://dictionary.reference.com/) for pronounciations and definitions.

According to Thingorjus:

Bee Are Ritz

She On

He has traveled to both places.
