private beach site for proposal
can anyone help me with finding information to get a beach site whether private or not to set up a scene for a proposal.
ie. would like to set up like a dinner event on the beach all catered for the proposal.
having trouble finding a place thats hidden or private.

Without a state or city given...
- Black's Beach, San Diego. After 7 pm the naked men leave.
- Rosito Beach, Mexico. Don't put your table in the horse cr@p.
- Daytona Beach, Florida. Watch out for the big trucks running you over.
- Laguna Beach, California. If you are lucky MTV will turn your proposal into a reality show.
If you don't like these choices then you better tell us where you live!

Ah, Black's Beach!!! I once got a "proposal" at Black's, a young man I met there proposed that we go and "check out the vegetation" back in the canyons off the beach. Well, mm, normally I am rather interested in the vegetation of an area, but in this case, I felt that I just had to decline. He gave me his phone number just in case my interest should increase.

OK, hey, all that said, the beach north of Black's, which is "Torrey Pines" might be a good place. 300 foot golden cliffs above a wide sandy beach. Not crowded outside of summer. Or up above in the Torrey Pines State Reserve. They have weddings there, if you can find a quiet place, it really would be an ideal place to propose.

Mendocino. Access to the beach by the back of the church. See if the MacCallum house will cater, then spend a few nights there.
Or, get a six pack and go to Panama City Beach. There's a Hooters there that will arrange a nice lunch of buffalo wings.

HI..
Just wanted to clarify for you what diann stated about a proposal on Marine street with a restaurant right on the water..I think she was referring to the Marine Room on Spindrift in La Jolla and it is a very romantic place and you could literally propose on the beach and walk up and have a wonderful romantic dinner with the waves splashing on the windows..Let them know at the restaurant and they will make sure you are taking care of.

Thanks for the clarification. I am an old S.D girl. I haven't lived there for years, so I get confused at times although my intentions are good. (right church wrong pew type thing.) I always loved the Marine Room. A truly great place!

There's a beautiful state park on the Ocean in Marina CA, right next to the Marina Dunes Resort... I'm sure the resort could help you set up that perfect experience, if you stay there... good luck
