Sorry it's over. Sound of Music playing now. Propose on any hillside street corner like Jim Carrey did. I recomend the Top of the Mark - Mark Hopkins Hotel...

Place to propose: Chrissy Field/Marina Green at sunset (dress warm) with a great bottle of Napa red and a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge. You can find a few secluded picnic benches about halfway between the bridge and the St. Francis Yacht Club for privacy

I'm surprised only one person jumped on David for calling it Frisco. That's akin to nails on a chalkboard for people in the Bay Area!

Frisco? He will never make it out of the city alive! It is referred to as "THE CITY" of San Francisco. No one calls it Frisco....ever. The Golden Gate area is "THE GATE". You gotta know this stuff as the natives will nail you. The Phantom left town, but a version is playing in San Jose. Propose on a Bay cruise to Sausilito. Or Top of the Mark Hopkins at sunset.
