I can see the Schofield (or was it Pearl Harbor?) fireworks and the Ala Moana fireworks from my condo, and they went on for the same amount of time....so they are both good shows. Here's the rundown on fireworks this year, which should be good!
Friday, July 2: Free fireworks at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. (Enjoy Olomana in the Paradise lounge afterward.)
Saturday, July 3: Fireworks at Aloha Tower Marketplace. At least, I think so...usually they do their fireworks on July 3 so it does not compete with Ala Moana
Sunday, July 4: Fireworks at Ala Moana. There is a free concert on the top deck parking lot facing the ocean at about 5 or 6; the deck opens at 3. Fireworks start at 8 or 8:30. To me, this is the best show in town....the guys who put this on have done the fireworks at the Olympics.

Need I remind you last July 4 was my first Ind. Day in my fabulous new place, but I didn't know if I would have views of the fireworks or not. If you were paying attention at Christmas, you would have heard me inviting everyone over for July 4.
