Niagara Falls/Toronto

Hi All,
I hope to get help with an itinerary for a short vacation to Niagara Falls and possibly Toronto. We will be driving from Philadelphia 8/6, driving back 8/11. Please recommend nice hotels in Niagara Falls as well as in Toronto.
Thanks in Advance!

There are many nice hotels on the Candian side of Niagara Falls. I would recommend them over the US hotels. Even more, I would recommend a detour to Niagara On the Lake and stay there for a night on the way to or from Toronto. However, I recommmend staying in Niagara Falls (either side) if you want to partake in the Casinos (on both sides. the earlier poster is right though, you will get better advice on the Canadian board for specific hotels. Just so you know, it it is a civil holiday in Canada on Monday, august 7. Expect bridge delays and traffic, and some closings.

We were in Niagara Falls July 21-24 and had a fantastic time. We stayed at the Embassy Suites Fallsview, on the Canadian side. We had an unbelievable view of both the American and Horseshoe Falls. The Maid of the Mist and the Cave of the Winds are two must do tours. The recommendation for Niagara on the Lake was a good one. We spent an afternoon there, and felt like we could have spent an entire day, but couldn't because we had other plans. It's a beautiful little town surrounded by wineries. Do a search for Niagara on the Canadian board and you will find a ton of info. Have fun, the falls are a beautiful sight to see!
