New England Winter get away with older kids
Hi we are looking for a place to spend 3 nights over December break within a few hours of Boston with our kids ages 20 & 17 who are not that into skiing so we need additional activities.
We don't want anything too fancy, too Christmassy or too crowded with little kids.
Bretton woods looks good but very expensive at that time. We looked at purity spring resort but wonder if it will be interesting for kids that age.

What are your kids into? Do they want to visit museums, sporting events, go hiking, indoor water parks, etc? Ask them what would be fun for them.
The weather can be nice or terrible at that time of year so stay flexible.

Thank you!
Recommendations for particular hotels/resorts would be greatly appreciated. My kids are into being active - skating, swimming, probably would enjoy something like dog-sledding, will tolerate hiking and skiing
