Michigan Mittens
I just posted on another thread the other day about Michiganders using their hands to point out where they're from or going. Well, today I learned that some Michiganders are now selling mittens with maps of Michigan for the upper and lower peninsulas, with designations for major cities. What fun! Check out www.michiganmittens.com.
It's a wonder someone hasn't done this before. One of the ideas that makes you wonder why you didn't think of that.

I don't have an actual hand warming kind of mittens, but many of us have those mitten shaped pot holders ("oven glove" with the lower P map printed on one side and the upper P map printed on the other.

kelliebellie,
You're right about the UP; hadn't noticed that.
The UP really does get short shrift all too often. Brings to mind a couple of years ago when I was looking for some stickers of the 50 states for scrapbooking. Was I ever disgusted when the first batch I found forgot the Upper Peninsula. Jeez! How can you forget a whole peninsula! Michigan is more than just the mitten.
