Memphis hotel with great pool

We are two families heading to Memphis for an Elvis fix and some BBQ etc. in May. We want a hotel that is preferably closer to the downtown sights and the Beale St area that has a great pool (large rooms would be a plus as there will be 3 toddlers).
Thank you for the help!

You probably can't get any closer than The Peabody. Great pool, close to Beale Street and the toddlers will love the ducks.

The Peabody is lovely, but a note: the pool is not that big (probably the best you'll find, though) and the rooms are not large, either.

The downtown Marriott has a decent indoor pool. There are photos on the marriott.com website. Also, a new tower was added to the hotel in the last few years and other renovations have been done. It is a bit away from Beale street but is on the trolley line, which is a good means of transportation around the downtown area.

I live in Memphis, and am afraid I am unaware of a hotel that will satisfy ALL of your requests, so I will suggest what I consider the next best thing. The Hampton in that is connected (literally, buy a walkway over the street below) to Peabody Place. You would be in walking distance to the riverfront for Memphis in May (note: BOOK EARLY), our fair city's largest annual event, Beale street, Peabody Place Mall, and close to the Civil Rights Museum, Autozone Baseball Park, and other downtown stuff. I don't know what your price range is, but I would venture to guess that you can get two adjoining rooms at H. Inn for what one room costs at the Peabody Hotel. You can always go over and walk through the lobby when the ducks come down for their activities.
