Maui in November

Good afternoon, I know it's hard to give an accurate # but was wondering if someone out there that has visited Maui in November can tell me how the weather will be even if only an estimate. I will be there 11/19 to 11/26. Can I hope to go to the beach (or will it be too cold). I have visited before but once in June and two times in September. DO want to thank you for all the great advise received here.

I was on Maui last November, although earlier in the month. It was fabulous; weather and water were both warm. It might depend somewhat on where you are staying. I was in Maalaea, which is a bit towards the south side. I returned to Maui in January and it was much cooler. I doubt I'll go that early in the year again.

Google maui weather november and you will get several sites that can tell you. A lot depends on where on the island you will be.

While the weather will be different on different parts of the island, it is ALWAYS beach weather in Hawaii (Maui included) in my opinion. The average high temperature in Lahaina and Kihei in November is 85 °F ; in Paia, goes way down to 83.7 °F

I've been looking at this as we're thinking of an anniversary trip at the beginning of December.
I've looked at the current ocean water temperature which seems warmer than the tables state it should be for this time of year. It's over 84 degrees.
I'm hoping that means it will still be warm early December as I'm not the kind of person to throw on a wetsuit for a swim!

We went about a week earlier than that and it was just like you'd expect, warm, tropical weatehr. We still got sunburned, swam in the ocean and did all the things we had done when we went in Sept or April.

I went to Maui and the Big Island for Thanksgiving last year. It was definitely beach weather for both - laid out on the beach, went snorkeling, etc. It was a bit windy on the BI, but Maui was gorgeous.

We were on Maui Thanksgiving 2003. Weather was perfect. We swam and snorkeled lots.

Enjoy your trip.

It's ALWAYS beach weather in Hawaii -- unless there is a bad rainstorm, of which there are very few. I have never even worn any more than a very light sweater even at night. (We go every year, for 3 weeks.)

I mean, people there think it's freezing if the temp gets down to 70!

But of course, if you go up to higher altitudes, like up a mountain or something, you will need warm clothes, and you will more likely experience rain.

The average temperature in Maui during November is 83 deg. The water should be just about the same. In other words, don't worry too much, you will have a fabulous time in Maui!

If you are planning on early morning hiking, especially in high elevated areas such as the Haleakala National Park ( http://www.sharinghawaii.com/attract...-national-park ) then I do recommend that you bring a light jacket.

You will also be just in time to see the whales off the coast of Maui during your visit.

We've been to Maui twice over Thanksgiving and both times we had wonderful weather. We stayed in Kanapali both times.

Have a great trip!
