Ifyou are actually trying to buy a house - not just irriate everyone her to death - you need to do a lot of research on the area using the appropriate web sites for house sales, neighborhood information, search for local recors of recent sales - and GO SEE the property. You should also be working with an agent and attorney that you trust.

We can tell you about short-term lodging and restaurants - not how to invest significant sums of money.

I suggest you spend a few days in Central Florida and have a GOOD solid look around before buying, especially in the Poinciana or Kissimmee area... There are no hospitals in Poinciana, the nearest would be in Kissimmee or Saint Cloud and your shopping would be limited to a Super WalMart, Winn-Dixie, and Publix.

I'm sorry to pile on, but do you have a realtor? Because that is the person you need to ask, and the person who would know. If you are trying to buy a house long-distance without a realtor, and you don't know anything about the area, apparently, you are taking a big risk and being quite foolish, in my opinion.

Thanks for your oppinions BUT at this time when you have a bunch of offers, the realtor not always are reliable, they only want to sell.
So, after walk around, realtors, agents, researches, pics, crime rate webs, home value webs, could be useful the oppinion of someone to live or known this place. Thats it.

The real estate market has changed so much over the last 6 months or so that the opinion of someone who lives in the area will be of little use unless

1) they in real estate (and you don;t seem to trust the people with the information)

2) they have just bought or sold (VERY unlikely)

Please, confine your posts to travel. Or else - put them in the Lounge where they belong.

I too will say that you haven't started to give enough information to go by. $30 a square foot could be the bargain of the century for one house, and a total rip off for a different house right across the street. And even more difference if the houses are in different areas.

I'm honestly trying to imagine someone buying a house if they have never been there and checked out how far the house is to the grocery and stores or what the neighborhood is like. Are you buying a trinket on EBay or are you investing in a house?
