I have reserved a Dollar rental car for a week, and now see that I can get the same size car from Payless for $50 less. Does anybody have experience renting from Payless? We've never had any issues with Dollar, but would switch for the lower cost, if Payless has been issue-free for others. I'd love to get some feedback. Thanks!

Rocks and Roads in Utah

We've rented from Payless multiple times without problems, but not in LV. There, I've used Priceline to get a good rate.
Best price I ever got in LV was with Alamo/National. I got it by bidding $14/day on Priceline.
Anybody but Fox will be fine.
The car I got with National had less than 1000 miles on it when I picked it up.
My issue has always been avoiding the charge for an additional driver in Vegas. There are ways around this, of course, such as joining a rental car's auto club. We're finding the best price this trip with Alamo.
Unless you're going out of town, like Hoover Dam, I would suggest not renting a car and taking taxis.
They are pretty cheap, as distances are not great.
Appreciate your replies! We're heading north to St. George, Utah, so we do need a car. I'll check with Alamo, and might also try Priceline. Thanks!
Actually you just have to keep checking which ever car rental you want to go with... you can always get a cheap rate.
I got 10 days for $177 in mid August with Budget! Initially it was $430. I just went back everyday and checked the rates.
