Help Please: From JFK to 5th Avenue?
My husband asked me to post this question for him. Not sure whether to post in Air Travel or the USA forum so will try both. He is flying into JFK in a few weeks and staying with friends. Looking for best way, easiest way to get from JFK to to 1 (One) Fifth Avenue? He will have a carryon bag only. Any help will be much appreciated.

Agree - it' the easiest. Will cost about $70 including tunnel toll and 20% tip and take 45 minutes to an hour - depending on time of arrival and traffic.
If cost is an issue he can take the Airtrain to the subway in Howard Beach, pick up the A train and get off at 4th St near Washington Square Park - a couple of blocks from that address. It will take about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours depending on time of arrival and how frequently trains run then.
