Help on the Maya Riviera

There are so many beautiful resorts on the Maya Riviera. Which one is the best for a couple looking for a luxury, quiet, beautiful pool, beach and suites, romantic getaway with access to golf nearby. Is Paraiso de la bonita good? the new Grand Velas, or Ceiba del Mar? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Confused at this point.....

Suggest trying your post in the Latin America section versus USA. By the way, definitely go to http://www.xelha.com/ when you visit.

There are many choice for the Riviera Maya.

Put "riviera maya" into the search box in the Latin American forum and that will give you a lot of info.

Also, I like locogringo.com as well. They have pictures and info as well as an aerial shot of the hotels so you can see the beach area and proximity to other properties.

First thought would be Maroma but there is a new property called Mayakoba, a Banyan Tree resort that was in the latest Destinations magazine. Looks very nice!

Ceiba del Mar's property is beautiful but I didn't like their beach at all. Rooms were beautiful, though.

Also look into the Iberostar Paraiso Grand. Wonderful luxury adults only all inclusive with their own great gold course.
