Great places for honeymoon in the US
We're in the midst of planning an intimate wedding someplace in central Florida. We're now searching for a nice location for a honeymoon - 4nights/5 days in late August early September. Any suggestions?

First and foremost, get away from the heat. Sorry, South and Southwest, but summer is TERRIBLE at that time. Even as far north as New York City could be uncomfortable.
For this short of a trip, I recommend you don't spend a lot of time traveling. Pacific Northwest would be great, but a bit far. Even the Rockies are iffy as far as distance is concerned.
> laid back honeymoon - really romantic, a nice spa
Northeast, laid back, romantic. Hmmmmm.
I'd concentrate my search on New England. Its heaviest tourist season is during fall foliage, so August would not be its most crowded time. But you could still enjoy a romantic B&B in an isolated town with a covered bridge and a water wheel. If you get bored, take a ride to the mountains. If you're STILL bored, drive to a large city. I think you'll have a grand time.
BTW, congrats on your nuptials!
