Good Vegan/Veg in St Petersburg Fl?
Hi, we'll be spending 5 days in St Petersburg this August, and wondered if anyone can recommend restaurants that offer good vegan/vegetarian food. Only one of us is vegetarian, so if the restaurant also offers 'regular' food as well, then everybody wins.

sorry i can't answer your question. would love to visit fa again.
i'm curious if there is a difference between a vegan and vegetarian. a tenant says there is - vegans are raw foodist and vegetarians are not. is that true? is there a difference? just curious.

Try Rollin' Oats Cafe, 2842 Martin Luther King Blvd (also known as 9th St.), not too far from downtown St. Pete. It's a market/cafe so you can eat there or get your food to go. They have vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Raw food does not equal vegan. A vegan is someone who eats no animal products at all, no dairy, no eggs. Vegans can be raw foodists, too. Vegetarians draw the line in all sorts of places--some eat dairy, some eat eggs, some even eat fish.
I don't know of a veg restaurant in St. Pete offhand, but if your friend is not vegan, Bella Brava is a good modern Italian place that always has non-meat options. Love Evo's for fast food.
