We have 3 kids under 7. We would like to go somewhere this summer to a beach type resort - must have stuff to do for kids. Many of them require a week stay and we aren't able to do that. Any recommendations?

Oops - this is in Minnesota.

How about Williamsburg. You can book special 3 or 4 day arrangements including lodging and all included visits of historic Williamsburg,Yorktown and Jamestown. We stayed at the Governor's inn.Great close to the historic town with pool.Try the Williamsburg site.Paul
If you do choose to go to Williamsburg, you might want to look into staying at the Great Wolf Lodge. It's very family-friendly and has an indoor waterpark just for the guests.
In addition to the sights of Colonial Williamsburg, it's got Busch Gardens (which has a lot of rides and attractions for the under-7 set), Water Country waterpark and, of course, minigolf courses.
If you want a day at the beach, you could drive to Virginia Beach.
