If you go during the weeke, try Jing Fung which will be best cheapest meal you will have in NYC. Try the soup noodles at Joe's Shanghai and the slap dash atmosphere of Noodletown. And whatever you do be sure to stop at the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory.

Kutshers Tribeca is in Tribeca, as you can tell from the name, but I thought I would mention it anyway. You could take a taxi or have a nice walk from Eldridge St, , or eat there on another day. I have not been there, though. Two friends of mine liked the food, but I cannot give an opinion. Open lunch and dinner. It might be fun.
