COASTAL OREGON, YURTS?

Heading from Portland down to the Redwood Forest and are looking for somewhere to stay on the coast (I like the look of Cape Perpetua, or even heading more inland to Cascadia State Park, we are camping (tent) in various other parks on our trip but I was thinking we could stay in a yurt whilst we are in Oregon, I can't find what the weather will be like when we go (June 7th) And I can't really find any places that have yurts on their sites so I am abit stuck at the moment, will the weather be ok to just camp instead? (If it rains alot in May/June then don't really fancy camping there since we are doing so in alot of other places)

Yurt availability, Beverly state park, the weekend you speak of. If you tell me where you want to stop, I can give you others. I believe Beverly has the most yurts. (I swear I had a more comprehensive site but now I can't find it)

You might be okay to camp. Rain is always a risk, but less rain this year than usual. in June, if I didn't want to get rained on, I'd stay at a motel or yurt.

There's a motel 6 in coos bay, I believe. Probably not much more than a yurt.

Also: some KOAs have kabins (like yurts) so you may want to google Oregon KOAs as well.

Pick out whichever park in Oregon you want to stay at.

When you click on the reserve link, you will go to the reserveamerica website.
The cost is about $43/night or $53 if you have a pet with you.
You do have to bring your own bedding. No cooking inside the yurt.

Some of the yurts are deluxe and have indoor Bathrooms with showers, a fridge and a grill for cooking. The one I stayed at was at Umqua Lighthouse State Park.

They book up early though
