Branson
In our early sixties and are considering trip to Branson for first time...Has anyone stayed at Best Western Branson Towers Hotel or GazeboInn...There are so many places to choose from and most are quite reasonable but I sort of liked the way these two looked...Although nothing was said about a private balcony and this is something we always strive for....any help???

Thanks much Yuck....It would be interesting to know what your idea of a fun vacation would be...and, yes, I am white, no I am not male, and yes I am proudly a republican...and yes, I like clean fun...and, yes I have high morals, yes, I am a Christian, and I have never heard anyone refer to Branson as "nasty"...

Well, Jan, you just said a nasty word around here. Christian bashing is a common sport at Fodor's. Seems the Fodor's gallery of respondents is largely left wing and loud about it.
(Just to let you know so you don't feel singled out).
The Best Western Branson Towers (Towers? It has 3 stories. Maybe it's named after something else?) does not appear to have any rooms with balconies.
The Gazebo Inn has rooms with balconies. Rooms look like they have a bit more character to me. Check www.bransongazeboinn.com if you haven't already.
Good luck with your plans.

Jan, we determined the "towers" came from the two water towers that are in back of the motel at a short distance. Not any view to desire a balcony for and do not remember one.
Nevertheless, the rooms are large, and the location is great to be close to malls and shows and not get tied up in traffic. There was a large indoor pool in a garden setting and an extensive continental breakfast as well as a resturant. We were happy to have stayed there. Under no circumstances choose a location on Hwy. 76 where traffic moves at a crawl. We always drive down to beautiful Big Cedar Lodge for a meal and a short visit to the School of the Ozarks where there is an interesting museum. Enjoy!
