B & B in Napa Valley

My wife and I are having trouble to deciding on which bed and breakfast to stay at in Napa Valley. Here are our final choices:

La Bella Epoque
Hennessey House
1801 House

Please let me know what you think about these places and also if you have any other suggestions that are similar to these 3. Thanks.

i vote for La Chaumiere in Calistoga. I love the place, and got engaged and married there. the innkeeper and the owner are wonderful, they make amazing breakfasts, and i'd stay in Calistoga over Napa any day.

Did I miss a post? I thought he had 3 final choices and La Chaumiere wasn't one of them.

If anyone reading this post has stayed in Calistoga at any place REASONABLE, I mean under $170 a night, please let me know! We are ready to give up on making reservations there, altho I had my heart set on it.

I went to Napa last year for the first time and didn't realized that the city "Napa Valley" itself was away from all the vinyards. I check out all 3 of them and they darling but I would rather stay in Calistoga or St Helena.

Yes, I would recommend St. Helena over the the town of Napa. I don't know the hotels you mention but I can recommend one fabulous and very charming restaurant by the name of Bistro Jeaunty. It is the best french restaurant I have been to that isn't in France. There are of course so many wonderful restaurants there but this one sticks out in my mind as my favorite.

Have a wonderful time!
