I totally agree; do the Freedom Trail. If you have time, do a Duck Tour and go to the North End for Italian food and pastries. Modern Pastry was really good; Mike's is popular too.

I agree with everyone else...walk as much of the Freedom Trail as possible and eating in the North End is a must if you like Italian!

The Freedom Trail tour is given by the parks dept and is free, although I don't think they offer one in Spanish.

Lots of private enterprises also give tours of the Freedom Trail; here's one of the more established ones, which might be able to do a tour in Spanish and could even work with to to plan the itinerary:

Last I knew there were Spanish interpreters available for Freedom Trail tours with a two week notice, ask the concierge (aren't you at the Taj?) he should be able to find out. If he can not, post back, I know there are students at BU and MIT from Spain who do things like this for extra money.

While the Freedom Trail is excellent, I would not necessarily suggest the entire Freedom Trail for your group unless you were also going to see some other things on a different day -

Are you still staying in Boston for 3 or 4 days?

If so, ABSOLUTELY do the entire Freedom Trail with a guide -
but if not, then I would probably mix part of the Freedom Trail with some other points of interest particularly appealing to the members of your group -

you can go through the entire trail on line and make sure each point interests you - some you might want to just touch on, others you may want to spend longer at -
