Black Butte in Arizona, Nevada, Utah ???

We recently spent a week at Black Butte Ranch in Oregon and loved it. In late February we will make our first trip to Arizona, Nevada, maybe Utah and we hope to find a place something like Black Butte Ranch ( likely a lot smaller I suppose ) with a golf course, bike paths, quiet, near a small town, with great scenery. Any suggestions ??

I'm topping this for you, because I would love to hear answers. We don't take this kind of trip anymore (kids are young twenties now), but we spent several wonderful vacations at Black Butte with some other families when they were younger, and we never did find an "equivalent" elsewhere.

I'm thinking The Homestead in Midway, Utah.

Nice to see another fan of Black Butte. We've been vacationing there for 25+ years, and I've yet to find a place that compares. Friends have been to a similar resort not far from McCall, ID (can't remember the name), but that isn't the warm weather destination you're looking for.

Good luck!

Thanks for your comments so far. As to Black Butte, four of us golfing buddies rented a condo right on the 18th fairway. We had a week of perfect fall weather and it was heaven. It is a great spot.

I'll have a look at the Homestead Resort website. Thanks.

Dutch : I just had a good look at the Homestead website and the place looks lovely. Seems though that in February there would likely be snow. We are looking more for a desert location and sunny, warmer weather.

galiano,

I should have paid closer attention to your post. Sorry. There might be a resort in the St. George area of Utah, but I'm not familiar with them. Good luck.
