best italian food in vegas

my cousin is taking his new bride to vegas for their delayed honeymoon. she is italian and a very good cook. they would like to include an italian dinner in their trip but it has to be a really, really good one. any other special dining spots you know of would be great as well. they do not like asian/sushi or mexican.
thanks in advance.

I HIGHLY recommend Ventano. It is in Henderson, so you will need a rental car, or you could take a cab (it is near Green Valley Ranch..so ask how much $$ first to get from Strip to GVR). If you can get to Ventano, it is the BEST in town with fabulous views of the valley. We take all of our out of town guests there and they have all loved it. It is in Henderson near the corner of Horizon Ridge/Arroyo Grande. Another great Italian restaurant is downtown inside the Golden Nugget called Stefanos. Also very good and comes complete with singing waiters.

Ferraro's, but they'd need a taxi, it's off the strip.

On the strip...which is probably where they'll want to stay...she'll probably get a kick out of Canelleto overlooking the "canals" at the Venetian hotel. Food is good, too.
