B&B in Savannah Suggestions

Hi All - In April I will be taking my Mom to one of my favorite cities! Does anyone have a good suggestion about a B&B in the historic district with parking? I know they are expensive but would like to shoot for around $175/nt if possible.
Thanks Everyone

Hi Katorric.

My mom and I will be in Savannah in March. We found that there were very few B&Bs with two beds and those were not very charming and most of them had two twin beds (or one double/queen and one twin) which we didn't want. So we opted to stay at the Marshall House where we could get two queens. Maybe you'll do better or have different requirements but I just thought I'd pass along our experience. Good luck.

The Planters Inn is not really a B&B but has two bedded rooms. My favorite place to stay is the Hampton Inn Historic District at Bay and Abercorn. Although it is new, it has the feel of a historic inn - with HI amentities including free breakfast.

I agree w/ the Planters Inn. Not a B&B, but it has a very quaint feel and it's in a great location. Plus, I believe it is around your price range. Not sure about parking prices though.

Here's their website:

Have a great trip

We stayed at the Kehoe House and LOVED it. It's so beautiful, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They also have parking behind the building. They'll give you a pass to put on the dashboard, and you can use the small parking lot. It's about half a block around the back, and it's so nice to not have to worry about finding parking.

Two darling Savannah bed and breakfast inns come to mind - the top-rated Green Palm Inn (www.greenpalminn.com) and year-around colorful gardens of Azalea Inn and Gardens (www.azaleainn.com). Both have a nice reputation for complimentary yummy breakfasts, afternoon dessert, and pre-dinner wine and cheese.

I can't remember the cost, but we were in Savannah a couple of years ago and stayed at the Ziegler house. We had a basement apartmen with our own entrance, and it was just lovely.
