Avoiding Metlife Stadium Traffic
I need to drive to UWS of Manhattan from Philadelphia on the morning of Sunday, October 6 when there is a Giants game at 1 pm. How can I avoid the game traffic?
Thanks,
Bonnie

You have a couple of options:
1) Take NJ Turnpike north to exit 14 then take I-78 East through Holland Tunnel and then 9A north to UWS.
2) Take NJ Turnpike and as you approach exit 14 continue north on Eastern Spur of NJ Turnpike to exit 16E then take 495 east through Lincoln Tunnel then 9A north to UWS. FYI - the Eastern Spur goes no where near Met Stadium so you should't encounter any stadium traffic (DO NOT TAKE WESTERN SPUR WHICH RUNS CLOSE TO THE STADIUM).
3) Take NJ Turnpike Eastern Spur as in 2 above but continue north to end then continue on I-95 across George Washington Bridge and then depending on how far "up" on the UWS your destination is go either north or south on 9A.
