Anyone ever go to Showboat in Vegas??
just curious!! used to work there and wanted to know what people thought about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they changed the name to the castaways now............................

Since the Castaways is a "locals' casino" there won't be a lot of people prone to researching vacations to LV (like people who visit this site) who will leave the Strip or downtown LV to go visit the Castaways.

They had announced that it was about to become HOLIDAY INN CASTAWAYS, and then a while later said that they were filing for bankruptcy. The place seems to have lost it's identity since it changed names from the Showboat. They would have done better to "upgrade the Showboat" then to change the name and try to attract a different crowd, I think.
