Hi Judi - I'm traveling to Wall in August and after researching every lodging option in Wall, I went for the biggest place! Best Western Plains Motel (76 units) 605-279-2145 or you can go to www.bestwestern.com. Hope this helps!

Judi, we used the Best Western at Wall last August and it was fine. Kids enjoyed the pool and place was quiet. Depending on departure time, you might also enjoy hot pastry at Wall Drug. Had to stop in simply to see it (and get a free bumper sticker). It is only a couple of blocks from the motel. Wish we had saved more time for the Badlands!

Judi, Wall is only around 50 miles from Rapid City, so if your intent is a base from which to explore the Badlands or the Black Hills, as well as seeing giant Jackalopes or the "Faces," Rapid City might offer more choices. Deadwood is a little farther, but also a lot of fun.
