AMEX Airport Club Access Program- AA Admiral's Club @ DFW

I'm curious about flashing my AMEX for access at the AA Admiral's Club at DFW. Sure, I've seen the commercial with Julia Louis Dreyfus and Martin Scorsese, but is it really as easy as flashing your card and gaining access? I'm curious if anyone has had any experience doing this. According to AMEX's website, it seems to be quite simple: https://www143.americanexpress.com/c..._c&benefitId=1.

The only other thing I'm curious about is if my platinum business card will grant me access. I don't know if it has to be a personal AMEX card.

Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

How about checking with AMEX?

I'd love to know the answer to this too!

Lemme give them a call. If I can get any specific information, I'll post it here

Just called AMEX and a Business Platinum card has the same privileges as the Personal Platinum card, so she said we're good to go at DFW as long as we have the card and the boarding passes. Oh, and it doesn't matter if the ticket was purchased or frequent flier miles were used, which is also good to know. Hooray!

Just an FYI, this is true for AA Admirals Club, and Continental and Northwests' clubs too.

And Delta as well. Yes, it is just as easy. just give them boarding pass and platinum card. Continental lounges ask for your driver's license as well.

One note, I think in the Admiral's club you will have to pay for internet access, whereas actual members of the admiral's club have access for free. I believe this is the same as at the Delta lounges.

In the continental and the northwest lounges internet access is free for everyone.

The AA Admiral's Club has computer work stations, so you can get internet access for free if you use their machines.

For the sake of accuracy, the female performer in the aforementioned commercial is Tina Fey, not Julia Louis Dreyfus.

Pardon... I stand corrected. At least I didn't say "Sarah Palin." Thanks everyone!
