4-5 star Restaurant recommendation in/near Orlando?

Hi all - My husband will be at training in the area so I plan to fly out for the weekend he's there. He'll be out on the coast but I'll fly into Orlando. We would like to do a nice adult dinner out on Sat night. We are considering staying Friday night in Orlando and then doing a day at Epcot on Sat but haven't decided. He will have a hotel in Melbourne so we could head that back way for dinner...looking for something not a chain and not a steak house (I don't eat beef). We are open to anything else. $100ish per person is not unreasonable, but I'm all about a good local place that isn't too pricey as well. We are pretty flexible. Thanks!

Not sure if there are a ton of 4 or 5* restaurants that will be much less than $100 a person with wine, tax and tip.

We have stayed at the Hyatt Grand Cypress and ate at Hemingway's there - which had an interesting menu with lots of seafood - and is in a beautiful setting.

The Ravenous Pig, in Winter Park, has received several James Beard nominations; being a gastropub, it is more casual than a 4 or 5 star place, I think, but I confess I'm not sure what stars really mean in this sense. It's very good, with an excellent bar and professional service. Interesting wine list.

Victoria and Albert's would be my 1st choice

Also check out Le Coq Au Vin, and Primo, depending on type of food you want

You're welcome! Winter Park, btw, is a very cute little town, and there are a couple of wine bars and loads of restaurants and boutiques... if you decide against Epcot, a day in Winter Park, including a visit to the Morse Museum, would be lovely.

Winter park has many options and it is so beautiful there. I second the Ravenous Pig. Great shopping, scenic, high end and clean.
