2 for 1 Tickets for Monticello

My family and I(kids are 15 and 19) want to tour Thomas Jeffersons, Monticello. I'm trying to find 2 for 1 tickets. Does anyone know if and where they might be available. Has anyone taken the Ghost and Murder Walking Tour in Charlottesville? It sounds fun.

I go with visitors to Monticello several times a winter, and I have never seen or heard of 2-for-1 tickets. I don't think I even get a senior discount, but if your young people are students, there may be a discount for them.

I did a quick check for discounts of any kind, and didn't find any. Definitely no AAA or military discounts, and 12 year olds are considered "adults" in Monticello's pricing. Off-season prices are significantly less, but you won't get to see much at the garden.

The only discount is the Presidents' Pass; which allows you to visit three sites for slightly less than separate admissions.

That's what I have found too. There are so many places we want to go but it would be so expensive to go to all of them. I'm reading "Sally Heming" and really want to see where she had her realationship with Thomas Jefferson.

The great thing about Monticello (in addition to the museum and the fabulous shop) is that each guide makes up his or her own tour, so if you go a lot, as I do, you learn new things every time. Dont worry -- all the guides stick to facts!
