1/2 price Las Vegas show tickets

Where is this place?

How early do you need to be there?

What shows are likely to be available for Sat-Mon, Nov 1-3?

Many thanks.

It is located pretty much right in front of the MGM, in the same building as the Coke museum.
When we looked there last week the only shows offered were like third tier shows. Mostly shows that appeal to few people from what I saw.

It opens at 2:00 every day and they have shows that evening. Saturday will have a fair selection, Sunday will have lots to choose from, but many shows are dark on Mondays.

updating this thread. Has anyone been to the 1/2 price ticket booth lately? Is it worthwhile? I already have tickets for O! but would also like to see another less expensive show. I wonder if its worth it to wait and go here on our trip to get 1/2 price tickets...I'd like to see something like Jubilee or Midnight Fantasy...think they have those there?

If you have purchased tickets here, let us know your experience...thanks

From their website: they have 3 locations on the strip, open 11.30 daily til 9 pm.

I am going to Vegas in a week, but not sure if I'll try to get 1/2 price tickets. If yes, I'll come back to report.

Jubilee coupons might be available from Vegas Resource.com

We got coupons to see the Scintas from there, and comedy club 2-for-1's. The Scintas at the Rio is a great show.

Vegas Resource charges a fee for shipping and handling but i.m.o. better than waiting for the ticket booth to open day-of-show and not knowing what tickets they'll have.

We have never found tickets for any show we want to see at the 1/2 price place. It seems they unload tickets for unpopular productions.

LovingHeart, of course for non-popular production! Everything popular sells out for full price + handling. Although now on their website there is a note that they may have tickets to popular shows at a small discount, not 1/2 price.

I didn't make my point well. The 1/2 Price Tickets in Vegas remind of of those restaurant coupons at home that offer meals two-for-one at places where the meals aren't worth eating even at the reduced price.

On the other hand Harrah's often has 1/2 price tickets for Mac King and The Tropicana often has 1/2 price tickets for Rick Thompson (I think his name is). These are both excellent shows and excellent values.

The Trop magician is Rick Thomas and you can find $5 off coupons for him everywhere, and $10 off Folies Bergere at the Trop as well. You can play the free slots out front for a chance to win buy-1-get-1 tickets for those two shows. You can play as often as you like. We did the Folies that way, and they were not available at either 1/2 price booth the day we went looking.

We did get 1/2 price to La Femme at MGM Grand, though. Also available were Skintight, X, V, Crazy Girls, several magic shows and comedy clubs. La Femme was the only thing listed that remotely appealed to us, so we went. It was entertaining, but definitely not worth paying full price for. Even at 1/2 price it was only an OK value.

We were looking for tickets on a Wednesday night in February.
