Travelling Solo - Yay or Nay?

Hey,
So I was thinking of going travelling for about 2-4 weeks along the coast of Vietnam alone. However, I was wondering if anyone has done a trip alone. How was their experience? Thanks!

I was in Vietnam solo last fall and I absolutely loved it. Tons of people travel alone (solo) and it's extremely easy and a lot of fun.

Sure I've done lots of solo travel (Europe, Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, within the US) but never to Vietnam.

I have traveled solo in Vietnam three times. It is a very easy country for independent travel.

Go for it! You'll find plenty of advice on this website and others so you can plan everything ahead.
And you can even find travel buddies or local meeting groups for travelers in case you don't feel comfortable alone when you get there.
Have fun!

Vietnam is a safe country for women. It's also quite small so not take much time. Along the way, you can find some travel buddies and join with them.

Although I did a group tour in Vietnam - I have travelled many times on my own and Vietnam is really safe. You'll meet lots of people along the way. I find it's a bit harder to meet people if you're not staying in hostels so you need to make an extra effort while out and about.

It's super easy to travel across the country.

Have a great time!
