Shoe Trouble

Jump to last reply

OK I am headed out on a backpacking trip in June. I plan to eventually end up living somewhere abroad so I'll be gone for a good amount of time! My first planned stops though are Iceland, Norway and Germany. I'm having no problem thinking about jut brining a few items of clothing but I am seriously struggling with my shoes!! Here's what I'm thinking:

Sneakers: I'll be hiking a lot in the first two destinations and it seems silly not to have sneakers for this!
Flip-flops/shower shoes: because who knows...

Now for the dilemma:
I want a sandal type shoe to walk around in during the day touring cities but I also want a shoe to go out in, im talking looking hot in the clubs. I love heels so I am seriously struggling with this. Do I give up my heel for a comfortable walking shoe so I don't end up with 4 pairs? I do have a comfortable heel that could double as an airplane shoe, but that means 4 pairs, is that too manY?!?! HELLLP!
