Mechanics of Emailing Pix
We have had pictures burned onto cd's in Italy but, since we don't haul our computer, have never uploaded photos to the internet. Is there a way to do that without a computer of one's own?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Am sending this back to the top for myself.
To re-phrase, can I take my camera to "some place" in Paris or Aix and upload my pix to "some internet photo place"??
Thanks again.

A lot of internet cafes won't permit you to load anything onto the computer itself because they fear viruses and security breaches. sio they won't give you access to the USB port you need.
think about all the password-stealing programs that people would put on public computers if they could?
there may be places that will allow you to do it, I just think its unlikely.

Thanks chinacat. I didn't need to download this time so it worked out ok.
More and more folks bringing their own laptops now. Actually "felt" like there were fewer internet cafes.
