Help? Need Babymoon Ideas July/August!

Looking to plan a nice relaxing babymoon in late July / early August. I want gorgeous hotel with spa and not too long of a flight (I'm in NYC). Weather is iffy for Caribbean, so any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Mexico?
Coastal New England?

Appreciate the help!!

Welcome to fodors sacks. You will probably get some suggestions here . . . But it is the slowest of all the forums. You will get a lot more 'eyes' and responses if you repost on the geographic boards. See the Change Forum pull down menu? Click that and re-post your questions on the USA and Mexico boards.

Weather is also iffy in August at the coastal resorts in Mexico. I love Puerto Vallarta and would normally suggest that, but not in July/August because it's HOT, humid, and rainy season.

I will say that Florida will be hot, humid and rainy as well, or I would suggest maybe the Don Cesar in St. Pete Beach or the Sand Pearl, both on the Gulf Coast.

Maybe go north? Montreal in the heat of summer is much like NYC although it may cool off a little more in the evening, prime time to sit in the sidewalk cafes. Plus you can go by train, admittedly 11 hours from Penn station to downtown Montreal, but economical, probably scenic, and more comfortable if you are pregnant (sorry, I don't speak mommy so I am uncertain about your delicate condition....)
