Do you use a Travel agent or book yourself. experiences

Jump to last reply

Investigating my trip to Paris for upcoming May. Seems like I can get better prices and better choices, on line doing it myself. A girlfriend who would like to go also insists we use a travel agent in case some thing goes wrong. She wants a live person to be able to call.

For example, in my area Liberty is the big travel agency but unfortunately liberty has a very limited choice of hotels and type of rooms. on line I can literally pick my room choice.

How do you book the majority of your trips? any benefits to that way?
