Has anyone gone on the Skorpios cruise II or III. we are thinking of it in feb.

We are thinking about doing one of the cruises in March. Have you already booked? If so, what did you decide to do?

We sailed on the Skorpios 3 in 1998 when it was brand new. Its a really nice ship the highlights were obviously the incredible scenery, the glaciers especialy the trip in small boats to the edge where the ice flows have broken off and are a bright translucent blue. The crew chop chunks off and use it to 'cool' the 25 year old malt whisky they provide in copious amounts and the long metre long soft red crabs they fish for from the side of the ship they drop them into the boiling water and five minutes later they gone! absolutely delicious.
The food was great and all drinks were free. We also visited the owners island with hot outdoor sulpher pools and a heated indoor pool with resturant. We had a great time and can highly recommend it. Look out for the balsa wood Cathederal in Castro. Have a pleasant trip. JVS
