Need and advise about where to go in Bolivia
hello
I am hopping to find a good advise during my trip in Bolivia about witch cities or places will be the best to visit during a photography trip. my plan is to travel in July 2016
I am traveling on a budget so i will love to save as much money i can in transportation, and hostel and leave to the tours i think will be necessary to take some tours to visit greta places.
any advice about places i should not miss and also places that will not be so interesting.
thanks a lot
Fernando

They are all good places with lots of photo opps. No jungle? Maybe Madidi National park from Rurrenabaque.
As you are also going to Peru, consider getting the bus from CUsco-Puno-Copacabana and then to La Paz - stunning scenery, inca ruin is along the way. Sucre is a beautiful colonial city and could be included if you did a Salar de Uyuni tour from Tupiza.

Samaipata is quite interesting but it is a long journey to get there.
Travel in Bolivia is cheap but not necessarily efficient or comfortable. Hope for the best but expect delays somewhere along the way.

Agree with all of those spots! Be sure to include the southern lakes with the trip to Salar de Uyuni, especially Laguna Colorado. I thought Potosi was a bit more photogenic because of the colors used on the buildings, and the background of Cerro Rico. I think more people enjoy staying in Sucre, though. The central market in Sucre I remember has lots of potatoes, fun to photograph. The market in Tarabuco is also great, BUT the indigenous there do NOT like to be photographed! You might be able to convince a merchant to allow a photo if you buy something.

In Sucre, if you go to the dance theater, there is an opportunity to photograph the dancers in costume. Can't recall if you have to pay extra or not for a photo pass. That seems to be a thing in several museums, also.

head north from la Paz to Coroico. beautiful village with a couple of enjoyable hikes in the surrounding mountains.
one to a waterfall where locals gather to picnic and swim.
great scenery.
stayed in a lodge call sol y luna or something which was fantastic.
had a very small pool to sit and relax by overlooking the mountains with the most beautiful flowers all around... a touch of the touristic about that, but the village itself is authentic Bolivian. attend the little church mass if just to see how the community comes together.
sit in the main square watching the locals go about their business, a nice little coffee house I recall.
any restaurant served up traditional Bolivian food... a couple of good bars - from the plastic table in someones front room type to the more familiar.
small but a good opportunity to take pictures and unwind as you plan next steps. 2-3 days will do it.
the drive from La Paz is unmissable. from snow and ice to burning sun.
